What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Screen individuals and/or packages entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any irregularities.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and screening results as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and site personnel, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Stay alert to potential security-related risks within a logistics and distribution environment and report concerns promptly to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
