As a Security Officer in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members, providing exceptional customer service and professional communication. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will assist with access control, visitor management, and respond to inquiries, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by performing security-related front desk procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as per protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Manage and maintain activity logs and incident reports for all security-related situations that arise at the front desk.
• Communicate and collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters or concerns.
• Assist in emergency response activities from the front desk, following established procedures for chemical or petrochemical environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
