Security Officer Front Desk Clearance Required

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by greeting visitors, managing front desk activity, and carrying out site-specific procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor access to the location by checking identification, verifying visitor information, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and front desk requests, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access control, visitor management, and security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
