Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Job in Irving, Texas

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting access-control procedures, and communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
