Security Officer Visitor Services Job in Irving, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Services in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming environment while responding to questions and concerns with integrity and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security-related policies at a healthcare location.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and sign-in records.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming front-desk presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
