Security Officer - Warehouse Job in Irving, Texas

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to situations with professionalism, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following airport and transportation location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, access points, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
