As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service while following site procedures. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and perform access control functions, including verifying identification, checking authorization lists, and directing visitors to proper check-in procedures.
  • Support visitor management processes, including logging entries and exits, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and coordinating escorts when required by site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire-related alarms, and suspicious activity, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, including shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, using approved Allied Universal and/or client systems.
  • Control keys, badges, and other access materials as assigned, and document issuance and returns per site policy.
  • Conduct inspections of doors, gates, and other controlled entry points, and report unsecured areas, damage, and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Provide guidance to employees and visitors on site rules such as restricted areas, photography limitations, and prohibited items, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
  • Support security-related screening protocols as assigned, such as checking packages, deliveries, and vehicles according to site procedures.
  • Coordinate with site operations and Allied Universal leadership to relay shift handoffs, emerging issues, and policy updates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
