What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Support vehicle and/or delivery access procedures by checking authorized entry, directing traffic flow, and following site-specific instructions for trucks, trailers, and personnel movement.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
