Security Officer Driver Site Access Job in Jackson, Tennessee

As a Security Officer Driver Site Access in Jackson, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while working with a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate site entry requirements in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records related to incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
