Security Officer Clinical Patrol

As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will contribute through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, caring approach while helping create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the appropriate department or contact.
- Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, status updates, and security-related concerns as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
