- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and activities according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry points, lobbies, waiting areas, and other assigned locations to help manage visitor access, provide directions, and support a professional environment.
- Assist with de-escalation, report writing, and coordination with site contacts and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, and other security-related incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
