Security Officer Lobby Reception

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and support a professional, organized front entrance experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, clear communication, and teamwork while bringing a reliable, agile, and integrity-driven approach to every shift.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor access to the lobby and reception area by greeting employees, contractors, and visitors, confirming credentials, issuing visitor badges, and reporting unusual activity to site contacts.
- Answer phones, assist with directions, manage sign-in logs, and support security-related documentation and communication for daily front desk operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help coordinate notifications to supervisors, site representatives, and/or first responders when needed.
- Support a professional front desk presence within a manufacturing and industrial location by observing entry activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
