Security Officer Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine security-related duties, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology location.
- Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, badge requirements, and other security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
