Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitor

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Johns Creek, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed professional at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, interact with shoppers and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stockroom areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions, and report concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy shopping periods, special events, and store opening or closing hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
