As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Johnson City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, verify badges and credentials, and monitor entry activity to support a secure environment. This role blends customer service, communication, and technology while helping to address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and permissions, and document visitor, vendor, and/or contractor access in support of site access requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or security-related policy issues.
- Assist with screening incoming deliveries, checking restricted areas, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues that could impact daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
