As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Credential Screening in Jonestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document observations. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for maintaining a secure environment.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology is crucial for monitoring systems and reporting incidents effectively.
- Customer Service Experience (B219): Strong customer service skills are vital for interacting with the public and ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security protocols.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
