What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, verifying credentials, assisting with visitor directions, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and readiness while handling security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPO certification is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
