What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, while following applicable laws and company policies.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, access-control activity, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 year of corrections, law enforcement and military experience.
- Graduate of Public Safety Academy
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
