Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership, airport personnel, and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
