As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time - Morning
Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or public sector personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues observed during assigned duties.
- Assist with directions, general information, and crowd management during routine operations, peak travel periods, and/or service disruptions while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
