As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through professional response to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted clinical, administrative, and patient care areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
