Security Officer Driver Checkpoint

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, manage visitor and vehicle access logs, and report irregular activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gate areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized entry and support security-related awareness.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, transportation staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and access control concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
