As a Security Officer Full Time Auto Action in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and remain visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials, process visitor registrations, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
