Security Officer Lobby Desk Clerk

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk Clerk in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor the lobby, and support security-related procedures through strong communication and customer service. In this professional location, you will represent a caring culture that puts people first while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to help create a positive and well-managed environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a professional front desk post.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate entry records.
- Answer phones and/or front desk inquiries, provide directions and information, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
- Support lobby and reception operations by observing front desk activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and coordinating with site personnel during alarms, evacuations, and/or other response activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- This is a primarily driving post.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
