Security Officer - Steel Mill Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Steel Mill Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or unusual conditions.
• Control access to the facility by checking identification, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, and/or verifying deliveries and pickups in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
