Security Officer - Access Control Logistics & Distribution

As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics & Distribution in Kennesaw, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol key areas within a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and logging visitors and vehicles as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors entering or exiting the premises.
• Conduct routine and random patrols in and around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify security-related issues.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a composed and problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency protocols.
• Document observations and security-related incidents in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
• Collaborate with site management and local authorities during security-related incidents and/or emergencies as needed.
• Maintain awareness of site policies and procedures, adapting security-related responses to meet the needs of the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
