As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Assist in managing the flow of goods and materials at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access or removal.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts when required.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in reports as required.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
