Security Officer - Logistics Access Control

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Kennesaw, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal team member specializing in access control within a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into logistics and distribution areas.
• Verify the identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Provide customer service by communicating site-specific policies and procedures to visitors, drivers, and employees.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report any suspicious activities or violations of site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs of activities and incidents as required by the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
