As a Security Guard - Armed Healthcare Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming environment for all. This is an armed and driving post where you will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the security-related needs of the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed incident reports and document observations, activities, and/or irregularities as required by site policies.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols, including those specific to armed personnel, while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
