As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control and badge-related activities, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED (C137): This documentation is essential to ensure that all our officers meet the educational requirements set forth by our
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for maintaining a secure environment.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology is crucial for monitoring systems and reporting incidents effectively.
- CPR Certification (B205): Having CPR certification ensures that our team is prepared to respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance when needed.
- Customer Service Experience (B219): Strong customer service skills are vital for interacting with the public and ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security protocols.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with established site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
