Security Officer Patrol Full Time

As a Security Officer Patrol Full Time in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team culture while using integrity and teamwork to help create a professional and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help support security-related operations and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry points, badge or credential activity, and/or visitor movement in accordance with site policies, reporting concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues through proper channels.
- Observe working environments that may vary across indoor and outdoor areas, remaining prepared to adapt to changing conditions while supporting security-related procedures and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
