Security Officer Patrol Job in La Verne, California

As a Security Officer Patrol in La Verne, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to routine concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public responders as directed.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy concerns, and incident details.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
