Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol Driver in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas and provide a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes performing routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, paying close attention to sensitive areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations, including guiding people to designated areas and communicating with Allied Universal management and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
