Security Guard - Hospital Patrol

As a Security Guard - Hospital Patrol Driver in Laguna Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter incidents and provide a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or patients regarding security-related information or guidance as needed.
• Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
