Security Officer Lobby Access

As a Security Officer Lobby Access in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will serve at the front desk, greeting visitors, managing access and badges, and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and being a reliable presence. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific front desk and security-related procedures for a technology-focused location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.
- Answer questions, direct employees, guests, and vendors to appropriate contacts and/or destinations, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and visitor concerns.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying designated contacts, documenting security-related events, and assisting with front desk communication during urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
