Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver Job in Lakeland, Florida

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and common areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
- Assist with protecting company property, technology assets, and confidential work areas by observing activity and reporting potential policy violations or suspicious behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
