Security Officer Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork in a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access, and document security-related incidents, property conditions, and/or daily activities according to site policies.
- Support operational continuity by communicating with personnel, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner during varying shifts and site conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
