Security Officer - Hotel Patrol

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the hotel or resort environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a security-related presence.
• Document and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist guests, staff, and visitors with security-related questions and directions as appropriate to the location.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
• Follow all site-specific post orders and instructions relevant to the patrol unarmed post profile.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
