As a Security Officer - Office Building Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, assist with visitor check-in, verify credentials, and direct patients, staff, and guests according to site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders as needed.
- Maintain awareness of access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, documenting concerns, and reporting unusual behavior.
- Support a professional healthcare location environment by answering questions, providing directions, and completing required logs, reports, and other front desk documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
