Security Officer - Overnight Warehouse Access Job in Las Vegas, Nevada

As a Security Officer - Overnight Warehouse Access in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access and delivery records for a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and loading areas to help deter unauthorized access and support the orderly movement of people and goods.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
