As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will engage with employees, visitors, and guests to address inquiries and offer assistance, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $17.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions in a tech and media environment.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing clear communication and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document security-related incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.
• Assist with crowd management or visitor guidance during peak operational periods as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
