As a Security Officer Checkpoint Security in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and related security-related policies at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for people and vehicles, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, production-related spaces, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
- Support visitor management, delivery coordination, and badge issuance and/or collection processes in alignment with post orders and location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
