As a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and visitor permissions as required, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with post orders.
- Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional presence, following use-of-force guidelines, and/or supporting response efforts during high-risk situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
