Security Officer Hospital Protection Patrol

As a Security Officer Hospital Protection Patrol in Lees Summit, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and acting with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for people entering and leaving the property.
- Assist with security-related reporting, foot patrol activities, and/or requests for assistance while maintaining professionalism in a healthcare setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
