Security Officer Patrol
As a Security Officer Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a professional environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, assist people on site, and deliver service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a fast-paced data center setting.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access permissions, and support established access control processes for restricted areas.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in required reports, and communicate clearly with team members, site representatives, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
