As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry to a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to support access control procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or vendors with inquiries related to entry procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and procedures relevant to access control within a food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
