Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while contributing to a caring, people-first culture that values agility and innovation.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with supervisors and/or public agency contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, checking for proper access authorization and assisting with directions and general assistance as needed.
- Support day-to-day operations at a government transportation location by observing activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and/or applicable protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
