Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. This role blends professionalism, strong communication, and customer service with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork and integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may call for an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and staff screening practices while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or response actions, and work with site leadership, first responders, and Allied Universal management during investigations or emergency events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
