As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact regularly with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity or access by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence during patrols and assigned duties.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to support security-related procedures and verify identification or credentials as required by site policies.
  • Complete logs and reports accurately, documenting incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the facility.
  • Remain alert to any changes in the environment and communicate promptly with supervisors or emergency services if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
