Security Officer Unarmed Area Rounds

As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Rounds in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This unarmed role offers the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, truck gates, trailers, and visitor activity in support of established entry and exit procedures for the location.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing loading docks, inventory movement areas, and restricted spaces for policy-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
